Delete your account and data

Quick Paste Keyboard · Last updated August 13, 2026

This page provides both the in-app deletion path and an external way to request deletion if you no longer have access to the app.

No account? Quick Paste works offline without signing in. If you never used Google Sign-In for Cloud Sync, there is no Quick Paste cloud account to delete. Delete individual items, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app to remove local data.

Delete inside the app

1
Open Quick Paste and go to Settings.
2
Open Cloud Sync.
3
Select Delete account and cloud data.
4
Review the warning and confirm deletion. You may be asked to authenticate again for security.

This permanently deletes the Firebase Authentication account and associated cloud snippets, folders, templates, and synchronization metadata. Your local data on the current device remains so you can continue using Quick Paste offline; delete it separately if desired.

Account deletion also removes Quick Paste’s private support history and summary for that account, its leaderboard consent profile, and any public Top Supporters entry. It does not delete transaction records retained independently by Google Play.

Important: Signing out only disconnects the device and stops synchronization. It does not delete your cloud account or cloud data.

Request deletion without the app

Email us from the Google email address used for Quick Paste Cloud Sync. This allows us to verify which account should be removed.

Start deletion request

We may request reasonable verification before deleting data to prevent unauthorized deletion. Verified requests will normally be completed within 30 days. We will confirm when processing is complete.

What is deleted

  • The Quick Paste Firebase Authentication account
  • Cloud-synced snippets and folders
  • User-created cloud templates
  • Cloud synchronization metadata associated with the account
  • Private Quick Paste support-purchase history and support summary associated with the account
  • Leaderboard consent profile and any public Top Supporters entry
Leaderboard-only removal: You do not need to delete your account to leave the Top Supporters leaderboard. Use the eye/visibility control on the support screen to remove your public name, profile photo, support count, masked contribution level, and rank while retaining your private support history.

What is not deleted automatically

  • Local app data: remains on devices until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall Quick Paste.
  • Google account: deleting Quick Paste data does not delete your Google account.
  • Google Play transaction records: support-purchase records are handled and may be retained by Google Play under Google’s policies and legal obligations. Quick Paste cannot delete Google’s transaction history.
  • Anonymous analytics: aggregated or de-identified support-flow reporting that is no longer associated with the deleted account may remain under Firebase retention settings.
